On January 13, 2024, during a scheduled event in Ilagan City, within the Isabela province, fate led us to meet Jonalyn, a 15-year-old girl battling an autoimmune disorder. Our visit to Jonalyn’s home revealed the harsh reality of her declining health as she lay next to her mother.
